About Rinpoche
A Life Dedicated
to the Dharma
In 1972, His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa recognized Nedo Kuchung Rinpoche as the sixth reincarnation of Nedo Kulha Kuchung Rinpoche, holder of the Nedo Kagyu lineage.
Born on 2 August 1962, Rinpoche trained under eminent masters and completed traditional retreats in Ladakh and Rumtek. He was later appointed Dorjee Lopön—Vajra Master—of the Rumtek Dharma Chakra in Sikkim.
Today, he continues to serve the Karma Kagyu lineage and guide compassionate Dharma activities in Sikkim and the Philippines.
